I love the tactile nature of working with clay and strive to enhance the joy of everyday life with my bespoke functional ware and timeless ceramics.

Be it sipping a coffee or tea, with hands wrapped around one of my mugs as you start your day or placing a meal to share with family and friends on the table in one of my serving bowls or platters, my aim is to add to the senses of this experience.

 

Whilst burnishing the black clay or carving a porcelain piece, how it feels and functions is as important as how it looks. My journey in ceramics started in 2020, and a passion for this medium was ignited.

I love the meditative rhythm of throwing on the wheel. Losing myself to the feel of the raw material being molded by my hands. The joy of creating a piece to be used and loved in everyday life. 

 

My inspiration comes from my love of nature, architecture, interior design and all things pleasing to my eye. Visual beauty and inspiration is everywhere. From the wind swept coast to the lush rainforests and all the city scapes in between. My artists lens is always on.
