HOUSE is an evocative new solo exhibition by Newcastle-based artist Louise Carter.
Blending ceramic sculpture and oil painting, HOUSE invites viewers to reconsider one
of Australia’s most deeply held beliefs: that owning a home is the ultimate marker of
success, stability, and identity.
Through a series of ceramic sculptures and atmospheric paintings, Louise explores the
cultural promise of homeownership—and the quiet costs that can accompany it.
